What we must know in order to fight the spiritual battle
Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Anyone can be easily scarred by small incidents, but if those scars are not healed, it can easily lead to physical problems or bring mental confusion. We must break the forces of darkness working around us in the name of Jesus Christ in order to resolve the spiritual problems arising around the world. What must we know to be victorious in spiritual battle?
1. The forces of darkness unseen to the eyes (John 8:44)
All people usually share the same sentiments. We all want to know what will happen in the future so that we can prevent bad things from happening, and everyone wants to find a good match in order to have a happy marriage. Satan uses the desires people have to live better lives. We must not forget the existence of the forces of darkness that are unseen to the eyes that pretend to give humankind things that seem to be good, but prevent them from ever meeting God, eventually dragging them into destruction.
2. The forces of darkness that never die (Ephesians 6: 10~20)
You cannot overcome the forces of darkness through lots of money or by studying well. The forces of darkness do not die. The offspring of the woman, Jesus Christ, came and destroyed the head of Satan. He is the only one who can destroy the works of Satan. To solve the problems that arise in your life and the sufferings that you have in your heart, you must first cast away the forces of darkness that work in you and in your life.
3. The forces of darkness that we are in spiritual battle against (2 Timothy 2:1~7)
Most of the time, when a problem arises, people normally persevere through it or do what they can to solve the problems on their own. Therefore, we keep ourselves from looking towards God. As saved children of God we must solve these problems by discerning with our spiritual eyes. The object of our battle is not our physical environment or people. We are engaged in spiritual warfare with the forces of darkness that are trying to take over the authorities of the world.
