The blessing that Noah received
Genesis 6: 6~8 The Lord regretted that He had made human beings on the earth, and His heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #191 I’m Rejoicing Night and Day (#427 in previous version) Not knowing the will of God even while living your walk of faith can lead you into foolish thinking and incorrect decisions. If you are a child of God who knows the Gospel, but do not enjoy the blessings God gives to you then you will lose hold of all the answers and will live your life aimlessly and in conflict. How was Noah victorious in this world full of spiritual confusion and darkness?
1. What is needed in this age of destruction? (Genesis 6:1~3, Genesis 6:14)
In order to destroy people, Satan draws them into confusion. Satan who is unseen to the naked eye deceives mankind to separate them from God and drag them into corruption. He brings to them endless problems such as marital problems, family problems, and social problems. Families are broken and the society is a mess. It was at this time that God told Noah to build an ark, and Noah obeyed the Word of God.
2. The grace of God (Genesis 6:6~13)
Noah was with God and was a man who found favor in the eyes of God. In an age where there was no one righteous, he was the only person who knew the mystery of salvation. God poured down His blessings upon Noah, who lived the life of an evangelist during the age of the Nephilim. You do not receive blessings because you do a lot of work for God. In order to receive God’s grace we must first know the mystery of salvation like Noah did.
3. For you, for the next generation, and for everything that has life (Genesis 6:20)
The ark symbolizes salvation. Noah built the ark for himself, his next generation, and for everything that has life, just as God commanded. God said that there would be life for those who come into the ark and destruction for those who do not. God explained salvation through the ark. The message of the ark was that anyone who came into the ark would be able to live throughout any destruction or disaster. During that age, Noah was the only evangelist who fulfilled God’s commission.
-If you do not accurately know the meaning of the ark, then begin by restoring the life of the evangelist that God gave to Noah and start the life-staking prayer. Core Training Message / 2012. 6. 16
