God’s Word that will be fulfilled
Romans 10:1~ 21 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word about Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” (17~18) Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #202 I am so Glad that our Father in Heav’n (#241 in previous version) We are children of God that have been prepared before the time of creation. However, by prioritizing the physical tasks in this world, we lose hold of our spiritual strength and encounter conflicts. Instead of just merely saying that you are a child of God, you must factually hold on to the Word and pray. What must I do to hold on to God’s Word that will be fulfilled?
1. Enjoy the background as a child of God through prayer
Prayer is a method that God has given to us to hold on to the evidence that He is with us. You must be thankful for God’s grace of salvation everyday through prayer. Especially in order to hold on to God’s plan and receive the guidance of God, you must gain physical and spiritual wisdom. The spiritual fight is not fought through thoughts but prayer.
2. Teach the future generation the method of prayer Without even being aware of it, we may unknowingly teach the future generation bad thoughts, habits, and lifestyles
. The younger generation cannot distinguish right from wrong, thereby conforming to the culture. In a world filled with lies, we must teach them the spiritual truth and prayer to discern what is right. In order to survive in this world, I must have my personal method of enjoying prayer in order to gain spiritual wisdom and strength.
3. Wait with a joyful heart for the answer that will be given to the evangelist
By knowing the mystery of Jesus Christ and praying, you can enjoy the blessings of God that the Early Church enjoyed. However, the members of the Early Church were people who did not possess many things and many of them were unlearned. Despite their weaknesses, Jesus promised the Early Church members that there was no need for them to worry because He would grant them great answers. He told them to wait simply for the kingdom of God.
