Within the true answers of God
2 Timothy 3:1~ 17 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it. (14) Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #532 Only a Step to Jesus (#323 in previous version) By not sharing the Word of God, the number of people suffering will only multiply. By knowing what God desires and knowing what to do to fulfill His desire will allow you to enter within answers. In order to acquire true answers and save those who are suffering relentlessly, what kind of prayer do you need to pray?
1. Begin the prayer that saves those around you
God’s desire is for us to share the living Word of God to others. Man cannot solve his suffering through methods of philosophy, science, religion and culture, nor can he address it with the ability and powers of man (Romans 5:1~ 21). We must live our lives, enjoying the status and authority of Jesus Christ who died for us. When I first enjoy the Word of God and enter inside prayer, all people and the environment will be saved.
2. Change all scars of the heart into prayer topics of thanksgiving
We are grieved by the scars received from our family, society, and the hardships faced in school. When our emotions are riled up, scars are formed in our hearts and when these scars grow deeper you lose your confidence and begin to look down on others. If Joseph and Moses were to be seized by their scars, conflicts, and the pain of betrayal, then they would have been unable to pray and receive answers, thus being incapable of gaining victory. I must begin the prayer of thanksgiving for my scars to not become channels for Satan.
3. Think and make decisions befitting that of a child of God
There are still numerous children of God who have yet to discover why they must study, why they must receive the blessings of God, and why they must do world evangelization. When a child of God thinks, he or she must do so from the standpoint of the Lord and make decisions that benefit the Gospel. They must make decisions that are aligned with God’s direction and that God is pleased with.
- Within the process of fulfilling God’s plan, you can taste failure. Oftentimes, when we cannot receive the answers of God, we fall into resentment. However, do not lose hold of the blessings of God; begin the prayer of enjoying His blessings. New York & New Jersey United Worship / 2012. 6. 10
