Evangelism that is pleasing to God
Mark 3:13~15 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve--designating them apostles--that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons. Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #405 What a Fellowship, What a Joy Divine (#458 in previous version) God has called His children and raised them as witnesses of Jesus Christ. However, they do not know why they must evangelize and think it is good enough to live a diligent life of faith on their own. If you do not know the commission for which God has called you as a witness, you cannot enjoy the answers that are given through evangelism. In order to do evangelism that is pleasing to God, what must we do?
1. Gospel camp
Before evangelism, you must enjoy the Gospel first. If you enjoy the Gospel inside your studies, work, church, and family, God gives you evidence. Joseph, Moses, and Daniel overcame with the thoughts of the Gospel when they faced difficult circumstances and problems. The 7 Remnants of the Bible clearly knew the reason for God’s calling and were raised within the Word through faith. When you concentrate on God’s Word with the conclusion that you cannot live if it is not by the Gospel, you will receive the answer with which you have no choice but to share the Gospel.
2. Life camp
Life camp refers to the testifying of the living God and spreading of the Gospel through your entire life. If you restore your heart of thanksgiving for salvation through the Gospel camp and discover the value of the Gospel, you will come to stake your entire life on the Gospel movement. If you reach your life’s conclusion as the Gospel, the forces of darkness that are in your field will be broken down and you will gain evidence of lives being saved in the field. If you experience this fact, your life itself will turn into a life camp that shares the Gospel.
3. Evangelism camp
Evangelism camp is shining the light of the life of Jesus Christ in your region and field. If your life is revived first through the Gospel, then you can share this Gospel with others. During Paul’s evangelism journey, the evangelism movement arose in all places where he placed his foot. Paul discovered God’s plan for the world as he passed through Macedonia, and the answer of the Gospel being spread to Rome was fulfilled through one person, Paul.
-When lives are saved with the Gospel, God rejoices most. Meditate upon the Word and pray about how you can receive the answers of Gospel camp, life camp, and evangelism camp in your daily life. Core Training Message / 2012.6.2
