The plan that God established
Colossians 2:2~3 My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Even now, he makes us leave God and fall into idol worship. However, God did not just leave this situation be. He is letting people know His plan on this earth in order to save those who have fallen into idolatry. What is the plan that God has established?
1. Why did God raise miracles?
No matter how hard a slave tries to live an upright life, his identity is still a slave; likewise, you cannot escape from the background of Satan if you are under Satan. That is why God worked miracles to save the Israelites when they were in idolatry. Life cannot change without God. Do not doubt the Lord who works miracles; instead, you need to know the reason for suffering.
2. Why did God prepare the 7 Remnants? To save His people who do not believe, God relayed the blessings for His believers to receive through the 7 Rem
nants of the Bible who held onto the covenant. This was a solution that God planned because those with the Gospel disappeared, and many people fell into idolatry and grew distant from God. God prepares those whom He needs in every age and testifies His Word through the ones who remain.
3. Why did Early Church believers strive for evangelism?
There are people who are born into families that have the Gospel, but there are others who are born into families that worship idols. Early Church believers had passionate hearts for those who left God. Those who wanted to live according to God’s plan gathered, and God gave them great strength when they gathered to pray. Those who surely know the work of God are bound to pray.
