Those who have tears
Lamentations 4:1~10 How the gold has lost its luster, the fine gold become dull! The sacred gems are scattered at the head of every street. Many people say that evangelism does not take place very well. Some people find it embarrassing and burdensome to preach the Gospel to others. God blesses those who understand the importance of evangelism and see the world through spiritual eyes, as well as those who have a lamenting heart and tears for the field. What kind of tears must we have as we look to the world?
1. There are many people who do not know about spiritual problems
Many people wander because they do not know the spiritual facts. Though they use all their strength to solve the problems that are visible and tangible, they are completely oblivious to the fact that all of these problems stem from a spiritual problem. Jeremiah saw the destruction of Jerusalem, the fall of the temple, suffering prophets, and the death of the next generation and prayed in tears before God. The children of God who believe in Jesus Christ and have received salvation must see the world with spiritual tears and pray.
2. There are many people who do not know the answer
If we do not know the problem correctly, we cannot find the answer. If we do not know God, then spiritual, mental, and physical problems will result, and in order to solve this problem, we will worship idols. However, because spiritual problems do not get resolved, hardships continue to come, and ultimately, we will die and go to hell. This is not just in the case of individuals; historically speaking, even nations and peoples who did not know the Gospel experienced great hardship. Though the world continues to develop, problems only increase. We must find the answer to this problem.
3. The people of God must enjoy His blessings
There are so many people who have received salvation and are people of God and yet, do not know about the blessings of a child of God. The Bible says that people perish because of a lack of knowledge of knowing God. (Hosea 5:6) We must enjoy the status that is in Jesus Christ and enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit 24 hours a day. Also, we must hold onto the authority of overcoming the forces of darkness and pray. When we enjoy this blessing, we will be able to relay the answer of Jesus Christ to other people and have the doors of evangelism open.
