The Gospel that saved the region
Acts 19:1~20 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. Look carefully at the region in which you are living with your spiritual eyes open. This is the most urgent evangelism field in which you must share the Gospel. God has a plan for this region. What is the reason why God has sent you to this region? In order to save the region, what kind of strength do we need?
1. We must first enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit
The Bible records that through the Tyrannus movement, the Gospel was preached to all the regions of Asia Minor. Before starting the Gospel movement in the region, the disciples of the Early Church first enjoyed the filling of the Holy Spirit. When they enjoyed the Holy Spirit working by the filling of the Holy Spirit, the doors of evangelism were opened and the answers to save lives were revealed. We cannot overcome the world by our strength, but we can enjoy the Holy Spirit being with us and gain new spiritual strength. 2. We must look at the region in which we live with spiritual eyes
When we enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to see the spiritual state of the region. At this time, we must look at the finances, religion, and culture of the region through the eyes of the Gospel. We must look at the spiritual state of our region and break the forces of darkness that are working in our neighborhood in the name of Jesus Christ. At that time, God will grant us meetings with the disciples who will receive the Gospel. When we share the Gospel, spiritual problems are healed, and through this, the evangelism movement that will save lives through the Word will begin.
3. Evangelism is the channel that relays the answer to life
Sharing the Gospel is not just about persuading people to come to church. It is about proclaiming that Jesus is the Christ, the solution to all problems. Paul entered into the synagogues and shared the answer to those who did not know God. Through the disciples that were raised in the synagogue, all of the people in the region came to hear the Word of God. Evangelism is proclaiming Jesus Christ in the golden fishery that needs the answer. Through evangelism, our spiritual problems are healed and we will receive the blessing of saving the region.
