God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness
Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #436 Lately the Life of Christ (#493 in previous version) As a child of God, it is very important that you have the assurance that you are a child of God and the answer to all problems. It would be very sad not being able to taste true happiness even if you know the Gospel. We must begin anew within the Gospel. With what kind of attitude should we begin?
1. Our eyes to see spiritual problems must be changed
There are times when it seems good to do what you want to do, wear what you want to wear, and to live in the house you want to live in. We are not children of the devil within curses and disasters but children of God who belong to God. No matter how many good things we have, our life will fail if we do not correctly perceive the world that is tangled up in a desolate spiritual state and spiritual problems. You will not only be unable to save others, but also lose strength yourself. You must be able to see God’s plan by holding on to the covenant within the Gospel in order for your eyes to see the world to change.
2. Eyes to see the field must be changed
All of our sins and curses have been finished by Jesus Christ. The reason for Christians going through more hardship and suffering than unbelievers regardless of this fact is not because God’s authority is weak. It is because children of God do not realistically believe in the power of God. Inside of the problems and hardship of the children of God, God has a hidden plan and answers. However, because we try to fight against the world without knowing this spiritual fact, our emotions are hurt and we fall into unbelief. If we do not forget our identity and pray for God’s kingdom to come upon all of our fields and aspects of our lives, our fields will change.
3. We must have the eyes to confirm answers
The crowds of people who only believed in the visible miracles that Jesus showed eventually left Jesus. It is a great problem if we desire a miracle instead of God’s plan and guidance. If you wait for the work of the Holy Spirit even in the midst of great hardship, God promised to give us great strength. All things that happen to me are things that God allowed. God always prepares good things and the best things for His children. You must entrust everything to God and begin praying in order to confirm these answers.
