Three things that the Early Church enjoyed
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #366 Open my Eyes, that I May See (#485 in previous version) Today, many believers face hardship even though they go to church, and our next generation who will lead the next age are wandering in the midst of the world’s culture. Although society advances each day in politics, economics, science, and technology, people have unsolvable problems and severe hardship. While the world falls into the culture of darkness and becomes more perverse, God has gathered the evangelists with the Gospel to carry out His work. The Early Church is a witness to this. We must stand before God as we enjoy the three things that the Early Church enjoyed. How can we enjoy this mystery?
1. Experience of the Early Church
The reason that the Early Church experienced God’s power was that they discarded unbelief, excuses, worries, and resentment before the Gospel. The Early Church gained the answer through Jesus Christ before problems and waited for answers. They experienced the fact that Jesus is the Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. Unbelief disappears when you throw away your thoughts and opinions before the Gospel, and you will experience God’s power when you restore thanksgiving.
2. Discovery of the Early Church
The reason that the Early Church could spread the Gospel to the entire world was that they knew the mystery of the filling and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Early Church found God’s plan while they spread the Word movement in all regions and discovered the time schedule of the Word movement that saves the world. God raised disciples in many places through Mark’s upper room and Antioch Church and spread the Gospel in Asia and Macedonia through specialists. When you discover God’s time schedule for world evangelization and put your heart into the Gospel movement, God opens the door of evangelism and grants you wisdom.
3. Assurance of the Early Church
The Early Church received special grace from God when they experienced the fact that Jesus is the Christ. The Early Church knew the reason for the world’s destruction and the fact that only the Gospel is the answer to all problems. Furthermore, they had the assurance that God’s goal of world evangelization will be fulfilled and believed in the fact that God blesses evangelists for this purpose. At that time, the Early Church discovered blessings inside their lives regardless of their hardship in reality.
