The happiest time
Psalm 78:70~72 “He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens; from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance. And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them.”

Many people say that David defeated Goliath with his rock-slinging skills and faith in God. Specifically, when David’s stone and God’s Word came together, there was victory. When David was alone, he experienced the spiritual realms of God’s kingdom coming upon him. If we are God’s children, we must know this mystery.
1. When the Gospel comes upon me
The Gospel has the power to give life. However, we are unable to connect the Gospel to our lives and we face confusion and difficulties as a result. When the Gospel enters my life, the kingdom of God comes upon me. More importantly, we are able to enjoy the kingdom of God when we encounter problems or events. When we believe that Jesus Christ has completely solved all our problems we are realistically able to enjoy the kingdom of God.
2. The happiest time
If we are able to pray for ten minutes a day and meditate on the Gospel like David, we would be able to experience the mystery of the Holy Spirit. David’s prayer was not that of someone who was forced to pray. He prayed with joyfulness because he realized the Gospel. As David prayed, he wrote poems and put them to music, creating numerous praise songs. In the midst of his prayers, David prepared skills as a shepherd so that he did not lose a single sheep.
3. The inevitable time schedule
If you experience the spiritual realms as David experienced, a time will come when you will understand God’s vision. David did not have a simple vision but a grand vision of becoming king and building a temple for God. There is a time when you will be challenged. God has given us the blessing of the Gospel for restoration. Even if it is only for 10 minutes a day, if you can be filled with the Holy Spirit, you will be able to see the power of the Gospel and be a witness to future generations.
-Through deep meditation, think about what is positive and joyful and try to connect all things to the Gospel. Find 10 minutes a day to meditate deeply on the Gospel and apply it to your life. Europe Conference Lecture 3 / 2012.4.11
