The life of following Jesus Christ
1 Corinthians 15:12~20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. (20) Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #545 Down in the Valley where the Mists of Doubt Arise (#344 in previous version) When we believe in Jesus Christ, our past, present, and future problems are completely solved. For this reason, the fact that we have become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ is something close to a miracle. If we know how Jesus Christ is leading our lives, it doesn’t matter what kind of problems come to us. How is Jesus Christ leading my life?
1. Jesus Christ is living
If we could solve our problems by our own strength, the rate of crime should go down, and the life that we lead should become more comfortable. However, the problems only seem to increase. Even if we succeed in the world and have assurance regarding our futures, we cannot overcome the forces of darkness. Jesus Christ died for our sins, curses, and disasters, and He resurrected. He is living even now. Jesus Christ delivered us from the problem of sin, fate, curses, and hell when we had no choice but to die.
2. Jesus Christ gave us all authority in heaven and earth
All the problems of man came because we did not believe in the Word of God. The one who is ruling over our lives is not us or the world; it is God. The children of God who believe in Jesus Christ and follow Him have been given the status and authority to overcome Satan’s power. There is no need for the children of God to fear the world, and there is no need for them to have arrogant hearts. Lay down your ideology, nature, and knowledge, and enjoy the status and authority of being a child of God through sincere prayer.
3. Jesus Christ fulfills His Word
We can solve our problems through the ways of the world to some extent, but we can never address our fundamental problems. However, there are times when it seems difficult for us to follow the Word of God. Also, sometimes, it is difficult for us to find the answer within the Word because of our thoughts that do not change easily. No matter what kind of situation we are in, God is with us, and He transcends our limitations to bring fulfillment to His Word. He gives us the Word, leads us through answers, and helps us to realize so that we can see the important things.
-Jesus Christ who completely shattered the head of Satan and who will solve even the problems that are to come in the future is with us even now. Enjoy the status and authority of being a child of God through prayer. Immanuel Church Sunday Worship 1st Service / 2012.4.8
