The reality of the Gospel that overcomes the world
Esther 4:1~16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” (16)

The world persecutes those with the Gospel and Satan abhors those who share the Gospel. When Esther entered the palace, Haman had ordered an edict demanding the death of all Israelites with the covenant. The Korean church also has a history of martyrdom by numerous believers who rejected idolatry. Satan continually hinders the Gospel and evangelism of relaying the covenant. How can you be victorious in the spiritual battle against Satan and realize the Gospel?
1. God’s plan within the past (Esther 2:10)
If and when you conflict over and grumble about your past or issues at hand, you are not seeing the plan of God within that. In the passage, Esther and Mordecai do not lament or resent the hardship presented before them. Instead, knowing the reason for the problem, they uncover the plan of God through prayer. The problem only gets worse when you act hastily. God will guide you with the Word when you quietly pray, questioning the plan of God.
2. You can be bold with the Gospel (Esther 4:16)
During Esther’s time in the royal family, Haman wanted to murder all Israelites. However, knowing the power of God, Esther did not tremble in fear. One who accurately knows the plan of God does not waver in trials or tribulations. Even in a situation of life or death, Esther simply said, “If I perish, I perish.” Having the Gospel is having everything. God will prove His power and work by the Holy Spirit when you pray believing in the power of the Gospel.
3. God protects those with salvation (Esther 9:31)
Upon Haman’s fall, the Israelites created the days of Purim to commemorate the incident of God saving the Israelites. God protects His people and brings them to victory even without fighting. For those with the Gospel, the past becomes a platform; enjoy the Word instead of avoiding the reality. As a child of God, regardless of problems and difficulties, God will protect you from start to finish and guide you according to the time schedule.
