In order to defeat the world
Daniel 6:19~28 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. Many people wander in search of an answer to their problems. Although they search for answers to problems regarding their finances, children, health, marriage, and relationships, many people cannot find answers. What must we do in order to find the answers to various problems in the world and be victorious in our Christian life?
1. Receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit
The reason why children of God cannot receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit is because they have a different knowledge and desolate heart within them. Many people easily complain with their small experiences regarding the world, think of themselves as the greatest being, and do not depend on God. If we do not get rid of arrogant behavior that does not suit us as well as our incorrect thoughts, we cannot receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
2. Enjoy the blessing of prayer
Many people earnestly yearn for happiness and the answer to their lives, but their eyes have become spiritually dim, and they have forgotten God’s blessings and have fallen into idolatry. People have no choice but to wander in order to fill their vain and empty souls and hearts according to their instincts if they do not know the Gospel. Not only are they unable to block idolatry from penetrating into the culture, religion, and politics if they cannot enjoy God’s blessings, but they also have no choice but to be swept away by the culture of darkness. If you do not receive answers from God, you start to concentrate on something other than God. That is an idol. Idolatry is a strategy of Satan who tries to destroy mankind.
3. Throw away your standards
Your thoughts stem from what is instilled inside of you, so the more correct and remarkable your thoughts, the more important answers you will receive. When you meditate on the Word and pray, you will receive the answer of transcending your short thinking. When you receive a true answer, things you once thought as important will seem insignificant, and you will place God’s plan inside your heart in place of your own views and standards. At this time, answers to overcome the world will begin.
