Renewal through problems
Genesis 6:1~8 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. (5-6)

God promised to relay the covenant through Noah, his descendant Shem, and Abraham. However, Abraham continuously faced difficulties due to his unbelief. When you lose hold of the covenant, your physical life has no choice but to take a toll. There is a reason God allows all problems and hardships to arise in any given situation. What does God want us to realize?
1. Renewal through all problems
People who are separated from God get married and form families. Living life without God may have been misperceived to seem easy, but problems and suffering do not end. By using your own efforts within suffering, you may mistakenly choose an alternative religion besides God. It is because you do not know the way to meet God. Problems arise in mankind because the presence of God is absent among them. By knowing that God is with you through your problems is the beginning of renewal.
2. God desires the most beneficial direction for the Gospel
Joseph was harassed by his brothers and was sold as a slave, thus, living his life on the brink of death. Because he was able to confirm all these events as God’s plan, Joseph was never in dismay. When we perceive hardships with our own eyes, we may become frustrated and lost. However, God leads all situations into the most beneficial direction for the Gospel. When we believe and wait, God fulfills His will.
3. Remember God yields all benefits to the evangelist’s future
When we try to understand an individual who lacks commonsense, we realize that we lack the compassion and the ability to do so. We want to take the standard of God and transcend our limitations, but when we cannot do so, even that brings anguish to our hearts. The world is already consumed by the culture of darkness and is in a state of devastation. Taking this phenomenon for granted is also another dire problem in the world. When a child of God is unable to receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit, then all the days become immersed in suffering. Even if our past is filled with suffering, we must not be deceived by our environment; rather, we must receive the guidance of God who desires to bring benefit to the future of the evangelist.
