Healing is necessary
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

People generally live their lives with hidden scars and worries. Some individuals are completely oblivious of their problems or hide them in neglect. Despite living a faithful religious life and living in an upright way, the problems of depression, families, poverty, and diseases are not resolved so easily. Families that have shamans and households that engage in idol worship face numerous hardships to the extent in which they begin to surface and become manifested. How do we heal the hidden problems in our lives?
1. Holy Spirit healing
The beginning and fundamentals of healing is to first acknowledge that God is the one who can solely heal you. When I accept Jesus Christ, the solution to all problems, as the Lord of my life, then genuine healing will begin to take place. In order for Jesus Christ to fill me entirely, I must abandon my personal greed and motives (Galatians 2:20). At that moment, the Holy Spirit will work. When you focus your prayers in seeking God and seeking His help, the Holy Spirit inevitably works and healing takes place.
2. Word healing
God heals us through the Word. God’s children must receive strength through the Word. When you meditate upon the Word, healing takes place in your heart and spirit as your thoughts become organized and life becomes clarified. If you have hidden scars or problems that you cannot confront before others, then hold on to the Word. Discover God’s plan through the Sunday worship and attempt to think about the Word throughout the week as you apply it to your daily life.
3. Environment healing
People are social beings; hence, the environment is rather important. Although you may face certain problems on your own, most problems derive from your family. Therefore, it is critical that your family holds on to the Word together and prays. Paul also knew the importance of the environment so he always created time to share the Gospel wherever he went (Acts 13:1~12, Acts 16:1~19, Acts 19:8~20). During that time, the spiritual atmosphere is sustained and healing arises. If the problems that you are faced with become overwhelming, make it an opportunity for you to seek answers through God’s Word.
- Rather than resolving problems, it is more important for you to examine yourself. Have you taken Jesus Christ as your Lord and are you receiving strength from the Word? Offer yourselves to God entirely. Specialized Training Message / 2012.2.21
