Many people worry about their finances. It is the same for people who believe in God. Even though Jesus Christ has solved all problems on the cross, it seems as though answers do not come regarding our financial problems. God has promised to give the blessing of His throne to His children. How must we enjoy the finances that is in God’s hands?
1. Finances is in God’s hands
Finances is in God’s hands, and God cares for and reigns over all creation on the earth. However, we must prepare a reasonable attitude and the basics in order to enjoy financial blessings. First of all, put your priority in giving offering, and have a habit of saving. In addition, prepare the specialty of doing your best in even the smallest things, and enjoy a unique blessing in your field of specialty. When you center your heart on the Gospel when you study or work, God blesses your finances and grants you the strength to devote to evangelism and missions.
2. Ones who received financial blessings
God blessed the finances of those who centered their hearts on the Gospel. Doors of Rome evangelism opened through Priscilla and Aquila’s tent-making business, Gaius shared the Gospel with Quartus, a finance officer, and formed a team for economy. Also, Philemon devoted all of his possessions in assisting Paul the evangelist. God blessed these people who were centered on the Gospel movement so abundantly to the extent to which they left behind their mark in history.
3. Find and enjoy the Word
Prior to asking for financial blessings, you must enjoy the Word. In every small event or incident, hold onto the Word and not onto worldly things. Also, put your heart into offering, and do not waste your money even on small spendings. Furthermore, live all of your economic life according to God’s Word and standards. When you manage your finances according to spiritual standards, God blesses with the hidden finances prepared for the Gospel and missions.
