Restore your lifestyle
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #384 All the Way My Savior Leads Me (#434 in previous version)
There are people who are satisfied with attending church as a habit or duty without much thought and people who live according to their personal thoughts and desires. Conversely, there are people who meditate on the Word day and night in order to gain the strength God gives and want to receive God’s guidance. Which side am I closer to? A person receiving the guidance of God has an organized lifestyle, and lives a lifestyle with a clear purpose. In order to receive the guidance of God, what must you restore?
1. The restoration of lifestyle
As our problems have developed since our early years, if they are not solved, things will become increasingly difficult as we live our lives. If health problems come, our lifestyles become more difficult, and if spiritual problems become apparent in our lifestyles, our scars become bigger. If you do not have the basics, there is no way to live in the world. If I have problems that I have not been able to solve until now through my own strength, I must start with the strength of Jesus Christ, not my strength.
2. Restoration of vessel
Each individual has big and small problems even if they do not speak about them. However, people who do not have the basics down have no choice but to have small vessels. People whose foundations of life are not set generally cannot see the present reality properly. If you want to enjoy the blessing of salvation in your lifestyle, more than concentrating on your weak form, look to Christ who has solved all problems. Evaluate the issues that are not working out in your lifestyle, and start by utilizing your time valuably. If your foundation is properly laid, your vessel will also be restored in good form.
3. The restoration of the authority of Christ
People who know why problems continually come to the world also know the mystery to solve them. The Bible clearly states what the nature of the problem is, where it all began, and what the solution is. Spiritual problems plow into each person in a variety of forms. It is the strategy of Satan that seeks to bring humankind to failure. Satan hides in culture and religion, politics and economy, and deceives people. Although the spirit of confusion deceives me, I deceive myself, and I am constantly shaking because I do not have the strength that God gives, if I restore the authority of Jesus Christ, the forces of darkness lose their strength, and I will have victory in my spiritual fight.
- How great is the power of the Gospel? How much of the power of the Gospel have I tasted and am I enjoying? All people are weak. Do not shake because of your personal problems right now, but start putting the small things into action so that your lifestyle can be properly restored. Mission Home Training Message /2012.1.31
