What God desires
Colossians 4:11 Jesus, who is called Justus, also sends greetings. These are the only Jews among my co-workers for the kingdom of God, and they have proved a comfort to me.

While Justus simply devoted himself for the evangelism movement, his name is recorded in the Bible alongside Paul. While it is good to do many things, we must devote ourselves to what is valuable. As people who will rightfully receive answers in the Gospel, Remnants need not be anxious about anything. Because the Holy Spirit is with us, there is no need to be shaken. We must do what is rightful, necessary and absolute as we do our best. Then, what then is it that God desires from us?
1. We must stand where God wants us.
Remnants who have the Gospel must go where God wants us to go. Following the time of Joseph, the Israelites lost hold of the Gospel. However, because of one person, Joseph, the Gospel was restored. Even when many people looked to things that were not the Gospel, Moses held onto only the covenant and followed after the guidance of God. Justus, in the Scripture reading, was also a person who stood in this place for the most important Gospel. Because Satan abhors the Gospel, he tries to prevent us from holding to it. Even if I alone hold onto the Gospel and enjoy it, I can save the world. We must not be deceived by our circumstances but realize that God has raised us in the time schedule of evangelism.
2. We must do what God wants
We must think about whether the works we pursue are for the sake of the Gospel. When problems come, we have to interpret them according to the Gospel. Before we do anything, we need to simply ask the question of whether it is beneficial to evangelism as our standard of measure. If what I do leads to suffering for the sake of the church, the Gospel and evangelism, then whatever I am doing is the most precious work. God blesses the work that is undertaken for the sake of the Gospel and evangelism.
3. We must devote ourselves for the precious future
God has planned. Justus did not have a thriving business or anything in particular that makes him stand out. However, he dedicated himself for the Gospel and the future God desired. God promised to be with us until the end of the earth as He implored us to make disciples of all nations. As we hold to this covenant we must believe in the fulfillment of Acts 1:8.
