Time schedule for the evangelists to receive answers
Acts 16:6~10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the Gospel to them. (10)
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #549 My Jesus, as Thou Wilt (#431 in previous version)
God answers our prayers 24 hours a day, but there is a time schedule in which He gives important answers to individuals. We must discover the answers that God desires to give to us in the Word of God and see the time schedule that God has planned. We must discover the answers that God wants to give to us concerning our past, present and future.
1. Past
To complain about or be disappointed in the past is to lose hold of all the blessings and platforms that are hidden in it. If we can make the past our platform and make everything from the past the model for success and save those who have the same problem as us, then the answers for 100 years will be pulled forward. Joseph had great difficulties in his family but turned all his problems into platforms. If we see the past problems as the problems of this age and the problems at present as the answers for the future, then we will come to discover that God has something special that He will do through us.
2. Today
When Paul was about to go out to evangelize, the door of evangelism was blocked. At that time, without being disappointed or blaming God, he discovered the answer that God had hidden. As he was praying the prayer of searching for the answer in the Word of God, he discovered God’s plan for him to go to Macedonia. (Acts 16:6~10) It was at this time that he found the important opportunity to overcome the Jews and all of Rome with the Gospel. Today is the time schedule for us to find in our prayers God’s answers that are prepared in our field.
3. Future
The future is God’s greater plan for us to receive answers concerning our entire lives. Discovering the plan that God has planned for our lives and grabbing hold of it as our vision is the time schedule for our future. When they prayed every day and discovered their daily answer, the 7 Remnants of the Bible discovered the answer for the future. When we enjoy the today that God has given to us as the answer for our future and do our best in the task we are given, we can enjoy the answer of advancing our future.
