Remnants must be prepared with thoughts and attitudes that are rightful of a Remnant. You just need to refrain from losing hold of the plans for tomorrow from the small to the big and make today into the greatest time. How must we prepare the today of the Remnant?
1. Specialty of studies
In order to prepare a specialty, you need to study both the curriculum at school and how to see deeply and widely about life. The start of school studies and life studies is one’s attitude regarding learning. A student must practice the attitude of 24-hour learning and know how to learn and realize things on his own. You also need to read books that help you in life with wisdom gained from living life and experience the world indirectly. If you do not prepare knowledge and wisdom, you will fail out in the field. In order to enjoy today correctly, live by doing your best in whatever you do.
2. Specialty of prayer
You must connect with prayer the studies and life given to you as a Remnant. If you can concentrate and do one thing, then you can also discover the mystery of prayer. Living in slavery like Joseph is also prayer, and so is living in the temple like Samuel. If you are asking the question, ‘What should I do in order to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit?’ go into prayer to realize the answer to that question. When you pray in order to escape from your thoughts and level, discover God’s will, and put it into action, you will gain the specialty of prayer.
3. Specialty of evangelism
Evangelism begins with holding onto today’s Word. If you are holding onto the Word, find out what you must put into action and prepare with prayer regarding who you will share the Gospel with and how you will deliver it. Putting today’s Word, prayer, and evangelism into action is the way to prepare specialty. If you take notes about important matters and begin the prayer of starting with small actions even though it is hard to put into action, you can experience your own filling of the Holy Spirit. The assurance of faith and each day filled with God’s power is the blessing of today that the evangelist must have.
