Summit prayer
1 Chronicles 29:10~14 “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” (14)
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #135 On a Hill Far Away (#133 in previous version)
Throughout every age, God raised up the remaining ones. In addition, He scattered and hid them. When God’s time schedule approached, those that remained rose to the summit and were revealed. Although at first failure may seem imminent, God simply hides those who remain and reveals them in due time. Remnants are the ones who receive this answer. How must you pray to receive the answer of the summit?
1. The reason for the summit
You must know the reason for the summit. Joseph and Moses realized their commission to save Egypt, and held on to this mission. David encountered the high priest Samuel, and received the covenant to save the Philistines and the mission to become king. Paul who realized his mission to preach the Gospel in Rome even shared the Gospel to the guards in prison. If you do not discover the reason to stand upon the summit, hardships will progressively arise. Correctly understand the purpose for why you are in this particular field, and begin praying.
2. Prayer of the summit
The prayer to rise to the top must begin. The covenant that God will fulfill and God’s plan for you must be uncovered in the Gospel. Whatever you do, prepare according to God’s time schedule. Though it may be God’s plan for works to not arise, but do everything inside the Lord who gives you strength. When the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be witnesses to the ends of the earth. Starting now, begin the pray that gets rid of all unbelief and worries, and have a sure goal despite the hardships that may come.
3. The method of the summit
Put the small things into practice to make the best of today. Place the smaller tasks into your heart and do your best. John Wanamaker who devoted himself as a Sunday school teacher made the best of his days. Discover the things that are not taking place, prepare fundamentally by reading biographies of successful individuals and learning from their lives. Make the best of today in order to be used for world evangelization through the covenant of the summit as you stand before God and hold on to the personal contract for this age and your descendants.
You will be unable to receive great answers and blessings if you lack the preparation to withstand it. To receive the answers of the summit, make the greatest preparations for today. Philippines Remnant Conference Lecture 3 / 2011.11.02
