Prayer for the field
1 Samuel 16:13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #197 God Whose Grace Overflows (#178 in previous version)
The children of God know and believe in the truth that Jesus is the Christ. He is the true priest who resolved the problems of sin and curses for man who had no choice but to die, the true prophet who established a way to meet God and the true king who crushed Satan who brings destruction to man. We believe in the fact that Jesus is the Christ who fulfilled these three offices. How must the children of God enjoy the Holy Spirit dwelling within them in their studies and fields?
1. Intellectual power
As a shepherd boy, David worked hard never to lose a single sheep. In order to become the best shepherd, David developed techniques to protect his flock. He also did not forget about meditating upon the Word of God and giving praise. David did not merely hone his skills to protect his sheep, but he meditated during his alone time and wrote extraordinary poems. Remnants must be prepared to be the best in whichever field they enter into. This is the answer that Remnants must receive.
2. Spiritual power
Those who do not believe in God can also gain intellectual power, but only the children of God are granted the blessing of spiritual power. You must reflect on the pulpit message and read the Prayer Journal at least once a day, and meditate upon the answers that God has prepared. When you begin with concentrated prayer, the answer that God is with you will appear in your life. Also, you will come to know God’s hidden plan within your loneliness, scars, and conflicts. When those who have this mystery pray, they can gain the spiritual strength to save other people and the field.
3. Skills
When your life is correctly restored and you gain spiritual strength, you begin to receive answers that no one can block. David rescued the sheep that was captured in the lion’s jaws. No matter the hardships or problems, the disciple with strength can remain victorious. Like David, remain in prayer and equip yourself with skill. Then, when suffering comes, enjoy it and gain strength.
If you do not fear like David who was filled with the Spirit of the Lord, then the blessings that the children of God must rightfully enjoy will come. If you can intensively study one area and possess spiritual strength, then you can receive the answer of specialty that David received.
