If we had a lot of money, we would give a lot of offerings, help those in need, build RUTCs, and evangelize to our heart’s content, but making money is not as easy as it sounds. If we are obsessed with money, think that we are not financially well-off and are miserable, then we lack the right attitude as believers. Joseph, who received financial blessings while enjoying the answer of uniqueness, was enjoying the mystery of prayer. What is the principle of receiving answers to prayers that Joseph enjoyed?
1. Uniqueness of salvation
The answer of uniqueness is enjoying daily the uniqueness of the Gospel in our lives and our field. It is only natural that things don’t work out well and it is normal that we sometimes fail when we try. If we believe that God the Holy Spirit is with us, then there is no need to worry about anything (1 Corinthian 3:16). Our past and present are important, but the blessing of God being with us is far more important. The 7 Remnants confessed that God was with them at every moment whenever difficulties came their way. If we think, ‘Where is God?’ in the face of problems, then that thinking itself is failure. Even in times of difficulties and hardship, we must be thankful for the blessing of uniqueness and the salvation that we have received.
2. Discovering uniqueness
If we have discovered the uniqueness of salvation, then we must discover the mystery of uniqueness in all circumstances, events, and surroundings. Discovering the reason why God has sent us to this particular field is the beginning of blessings. All churches may look alike, but the blessing that is manifested is different from one church to another. Ask God, ‘God, why have You raised me up as the lay leader, pastor, or Remnant in this field and at this church?’ and come to understand so that we can think and discover with eyes of uniqueness. Receiving blessings is not about our ability but about God’s grace. We only need to do our best in our field and take up the challenge in order to receive blessings.
3. Life of uniqueness
All blessings can be discovered in our lives. When we wake up in the morning, plan ahead how we are going to start the day and confirm our daily schedule so that we can begin praying for the people whom we will meet and the things we will do. Reading God’s Word to see what kind of blessing is hidden and praying as we prepare for the people we will meet, things we will do, and important decisions we will make is what we call meditation. If we look for the Bible verses needed for our work or meetings with people and look for the prayer topics for answers through the Prayer Journal, then we can enjoy the 24-hour answer of uniqueness.
