Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #94 I’d Rather Have Jesus (#102 in previous version)
People both in and out of the church face sundry problems. To overcome these problems, they use humanism and mysticism to maintain their spiritual lives.God told us that the uniqueness found only inside of Christ Jesus is the answer to overcome our difficulties. We have the answers that He has already given to us, as well as the answers He will give to us. We have to enjoy both these answers in our lives. To receive these answers, what must we first begin?
1. 24-hour purpose
When we face difficulties both in and out of the church, we begin to doubt God and complain to people. When this life continues, we will fall into humanism, focus all our ill will on our circumstances and people, and lose hold of prayer. When we are at our lowest point, we must not look to others. Instead, we must look to God, who has promised to give us new power. When we gain new strength, we will live, and the church and field will live, and we will be able to enjoy the mystery of prayer 24 hours a day. To receive this answer, we need to confirm the time schedule that has been given to us, and discover the reason and purpose to be specialized in our academic and professional pursuits. Then, we will even develop the faith of devoting ourselves to God through our talents.
2. Concentrated prayer
God answers the prayers of the Remnants, and God is even now fulfilling His Word through the evangelists. Additionally, God sometimes gives us problems to give us blessings and answers that are prepared for us in the field. Remnants must not forget this fact, and instead pray while holding on to the Word to become the Remnantswho receive the greatest answers.
3. Stage in which the works take place
When we pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit, spiritual strength, wisdom, physical strength, financial abundance and interpersonal relationships, we will stumble upon prayer topics we had never even thought possible. Additionally, we will enjoy the fulfillment of the Word and answers in many of our fields. When we reach this stage, answers will continue 24 hours a day, and we will be able to discover hidden plans within the church and the field. What the Remnants need is to prepare the vessel with which to receive these answers. We need to prepare a vessel large enough to transcend and accept, and prepare through prayer for the mystery to be relayed in the field.
