Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #84 The Lord of Glory, the Light of Earth (#96 in previous version) Praying without knowing the Gospel is the same thing as idolatry; therefore, it is imperative that we realize the mystery of prayer as we hold fast to the covenant of God. If we can pray while enjoying the Gospel, we will realize what 24-hour prayer is. After losing hold of the mystery of prayer, Miriam saw Moses not as her spiritual leader, but as her younger brother, and as a result, condemned his actions. If we cannot enjoy the Gospel as we pray, we will lose hold of the blessing of meeting and the importance of church worship. What will happen if we begin to enjoy prayer 24 hours a day?
1. We will see God’s great wisdom.
When we are held fast by the scars of our past, inferiority complex, and compare ourselves with others, we will be unable to see the spiritual state. As a result, we will condemn others, and blame everything on our circumstances. Not only that, our spiritual problems will worsen after pressure from anxiety and concerns. However, if we can restore the prayer of enjoying the Gospel, we will see our own spiritual states first. In particular, we will realize the mystery of the offspring of the woman (Genesis 3:15), blood sacrifice (Exodus 3:18), and enjoy the blessings of the three feasts (tabernacle).
2. We will see God’s plans
. When children of God with salvation enjoy the mystery of prayer, we will open our eyes to see missions and evangelism, as well as God’s plan and time schedule. When this does not take place, our unbelief will infect others, and those around us will be drained of strength, fall into trials, or wander without knowing God’s time schedule.
3. We will see God’s power
Moses, who enjoyed the power of prayer, was confident no matter the crisis. When people who know and enjoy the Gospel pray together, the power of God will manifest in the field, and physical, mental and spiritual health will be restored. Additionally, we will be able to make platforms out of the problems of our past into the future.
