The preparation of a leader
2 Timothy 2:1~7 You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus (1)
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #314 More Love to Thee, O Christ (#511 in previous version)
Leaders must have skill and power. However, many elites crumble despite possessing power. Leaders need strength and power that is fundamentally different from those possessed by others; that is, leaders need God-given power through which they can overcome all environment and circumstances. Leaders must prepare themselves in three things while they hold to the covenant of Christ and enjoy the answers of receiving the power of the Holy Spirit at least 10 minutes a day.
1. Aspire to the highest summit!
Though it may not be possible with our own capabilities, God will raise me up to the highest summit. We must hold to this covenant and rise to the challenge. God’s direction is to save the world through the people who receive the answers of standing at the summit. What country or region can I save and revive? In what field can I scale the summit to relay the Gospel? We must challenge according to the covenant and go forth into the world with prayer.
2. Prepare as the missionary of specialized professionals!
We have ceded ground in nearly all important positions that require a heavy degree of specialization to the Jews, the New Ageists, and the Freemasons, as well as to other religious organizations. We must transcend them and challenge to become specialized missionaries who save all politicians, elites, and professionals. We must challenge not through our own power, but through God-given power and the power of the Holy Spirit.
3. Prepare the lay leaders!
By receiving these three important answers, we must prepare as lay leaders. We must become the right hand of the pastoral worker and receive the answer of success enough to aid them throughout our entire lives for the purpose of the Gospel. We must enjoy the blessing of finances enough to give offering whenever God needs it. Furthermore, we must prepare beginning now the true blessings of regional churches that truly save the field. We must raise the posterity in the field within the Gospel, and prepare as lay leaders who receive answers to help the process of the evangelism movement to our hearts’ content. The answer of becoming a church befitting the name, the epitome of a church, and the church that is representative of the age begins with the lay leader.
- Meditate upon what we need to save the world as true leaders, and try to put into action what you realize 10 minutes a day to receive power from God. Meditate deeply on what you need to prepare as a leader.
