True strength
1 Samuel 17:32~37 But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. (34~35)

When David encountered Goliath he courageously stated the answer that he was enjoying daily. Generally, people use their efforts to receive prayer answers; however, more important than special answers are the answers and strength that we enjoy on a daily basis. When David defeated Goliath, and when he was a shepherd he had enjoyed the evidences of the name of the Lord and remembered the power of it. How must you prepare daily answers and strength?
1. Strength you have on a daily basis
When David was a shepherd he firmly had the evidence of prayer, the Word, and answers. Though he was in a lowly position, he didn’t work for popularity or a rise in his position; instead, he sharpened his skill with faith. Before we ask what we must do and how we must do it, we must first hold on to the Word in our lives, enjoy prayer, and prepare our skills. Like David, if you pray on a regular basis, then you will be able to make decisions of faith as well as correct decisions. When you make decisions of faith, true answers and true strength will be given to you. If you normally enjoy prayer, 24-hour strength arises.
2. True discovery
David, who normally enjoyed strength, received the selection of God and became king. Hence, he was anointed with oil. The Spirit of the Lord filled David who had seen the future, and when David praised, spiritual strength was revealed, and the evil spirits departed (1 Samuel 16:23). When David stood to fight against the Philistine army and Goliath, he engaged in battle with the true strength that stemmed from his assurance that he would be king.
3. True strength
The battle against the Philistines was a disadvantage due to Goliath. The entire army was shaking and even the greatest commanding officer Saul was taken aback. David, who was in the field, possessed a different strength from the other soldiers and stood before Goliath. This is the strength of the evangelist, the power of the Word. The children of God must stand before the world that is like Goliath as the spiritual David. May you courageously profess the Gospel like David and experience spiritual victory with the strength of the evangelist, the covenant, and the future.
- Am I receiving true strength from God daily? Through 24-hour prayer, may you experience true strength provided by God.
