Life of the evangelist and the fundamentals
Genesis 12:1~3 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (2~3)

The evangelist must find five things wherever he goes. He should not evangelize in the field first, but enjoy the time schedule of God’s kingdom and wait for the time schedule of being with God. And he must look for the person who is prepared in the midst of God’s plan. It is saving the society of darkness with the Word movement and the Gospel movement. It is being freed from the fundamental problem and holding on to the hope of heaven. This is called evangelism. What about evangelism did Israel lose hold of?
1. The fundamental thing
The biggest problem of Israel was that they lost hold of the fundamental thing. They lost hold of the cause of man’s fundamental problem, the incident of Genesis 3. Evangelism is not simply bringing someone to a worshiping sanctuary. It is solving mankind’s fundamental problem. More than coming to the worship service, it is more important to believe in what Christ did and why Jesus is the Christ. To us who live the life of the evangelist, fruits and revival are not important. For God has already given us fundamental answers, it is important for us to enjoy them.
2. Disciples who enjoyed the fundamentals
Among the Israelites, there were a few disciples who discovered the fundamentals. Moses recorded the most important Gospel that is the core fundamental of Genesis. And God restored Israel according to His time schedule. God desires to restore us through the grace of enjoying the Gospel. He told us that through those who hold on to this covenant, the heavens, earth, seas, and the entire world will shake (Haggai 2:1~9).
3. Fundamental answer
For we cannot do it with our own strength, God has promised us that we must become a source of blessing in order to save other people, and He has promised us the representative answer that we can receive when we hold on to the fundamentals for we possess the Gospel, the historical answer through which the entire world will be blessed, the monumental answer we will receive through our descendants, and the irresistible answer that no one can block through which God will bless those who bless us and curse those who curse us.
- You can find true happiness when you discover the fundamental blessing. Also, if you wait a little bit as you pray, you can discover the blessing of God’s kingdom. Check yourself on your personal prayer of enjoying the fundamentals.
