Evangelism and power
Acts 9:1~15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. (15)

We need our own power and effort in all things; however, only evangelism is possible and dependent solely on God’s power. The kingdom of God is our background, and the fulfillment of the kingdom of God is evangelism. Additionally, God is always with His children through the Holy Spirit and allows them the authority to bind forces of darkness wherever they go. How can we enjoy the blessing of the kingdom of God 24 hours a day?
1. Faith
Work begins when we realistically believe in the Word of God. When Moses confessed before God that he was unable to carry out His commands, God answered, “I am the Lord Jehovah. Go to the Israelites and tell them that they must give a burnt offering. I will be with you with my almighty right hand.” Amazing works began the moment Moses held on to God’s Word and made a resolution of faith. The only way God utilizes His power is through our faith.
2. Evangelism
When we continue to receive answers and experience God’s power, the doors to evangelism will be opened. When the people who believed in this power gathered in Mark’s upper room, three thousand disciples gathered in the field. When they received the apostles’ teachings, enjoyed fellowship while breaking bread, and wholeheartedly prayed, the work of the filling of the Holy Spirit took place.
3. Transformation of the field
The field will be changed when we hold to God’s covenant. It was through the name of Jesus Christ that Peter raised and healed the paralytic by the temple gate called Beautiful, in whom he had previously never taken interest. Peter’s faith is more imperative than the fact that the paralytic was able to walk again. When we enjoy our God-given background 24 hours a day, He will work through the Holy Spirit in our fields.
- God has absolutely granted us blessings of great enormity. No matter the situation, make a confession and resolution of faith.
