The life and spiritual state of evangelists
Acts 1:1~8 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. (3)

The life of the evangelist refers to my spiritual state. Though no one helped him, Joseph did not complain but succeeded in his given field and difficulties. In the Bible, it says that the “Lord was with Joseph.” Our spiritual states will manifest itself through the fruit it bears. 40 days before Jesus’ ascension, He spoke about the kingdom of God. Our spiritual states are an integral answer in this matter. Many people profess to live Christian lies but instead squabble over position, popularity and words. How is our spiritual state?
1. The work of the Holy Spirit that we enjoy every time we worship
The Early Church conquered the world while holding on to three things. First, Jesus is the covenant of Christ. Jesus Christ overcame all disasters and the forces of Satan, and opened the way to meet God. Jesus Christ is the solution to all problems. Second, they enjoyed the kingdom of God. Whether we are working, meeting others, or faced with incidents both small and large, it is vital that we enjoy the kingdom of God. Third, we must enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit. Whenever we worship, if we pray to experience the work of the Holy Spirit, God will give us evidence.
2. God-given answers
If we have the covenant of Christ, the kingdom of God, the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2), then we will receive God-given answers. With this will begin the work that no one can block. Work like the wind and fire will arise, and doors that were blocked will open, alongside the doors of evangelism. Additionally, the Word of the Holy Spirit will be fulfilled and we will come to know the future. The 3,000 disciples will arise in the field, and the evidence with which to save the field will be given to us. This is the answer God will give us.
3. The answers that will save an age
God ultimately saved Rome through the figures of Romans 16 who lived the life of the evangelist. God called us to live the life of the evangelist and save this age. We will not save this age alone. Everyone with the Gospel will share in the enjoyment of this answer. Prayer topics and messages, the direction of evangelism and the heart of giving glory solely to God will begin when we live the life of the evangelist who are able to connect with others in purpose and oneness.
- It is important that we determine our spiritual state in our life of the evangelist. As you examine your spiritual state, make a specific and personalized plan to live your life as the life of the evangelist and challenge through prayer.
