Evangelism of enjoying the Gospel
Matthew 4:19 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

Saying that evangelism is easy or difficult is not appropriate because evangelism is telling about the Gospel that we enjoy. The very first answer that we must receive is evangelism of enjoying the Gospel. As Jesus was calling His disciples, He first said, “I will make you fishers of men,” (Matthew 4:19). This means that evangelism is God’s method and that He will evangelize through us. Then how can we enjoy the blessing of evangelism of enjoying the Gospel?
1. Breaking away from the fundamental problem
Because we believe in Jesus Christ and have received salvation, breaking away from the fundamental problem is only natural. If the children of God do not enjoy the blessing of salvation or realize evangelism of sharing the fact that they have received salvation, then they cannot completely break away from the fundamental problem. Only when they realize the Gospel and enjoy evangelism of testifying the Gospel, can they break free from all the fundamental problems.
2. Being set free from the Old Testament
If the church is seized by legalism, then problems are bound to come. False traditions within the church hinder the church from escaping from hardships. If worship and prayer become a mere ritual, then spiritual problems can never be resolved. Breaking away from it is enjoying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and understanding evangelism.
3. Enjoying salvation
Because we received salvation, enjoying this salvation is evangelism. Because salvation is something that God gives according to His appointing, we don’t need any of our own special power or effort. Because salvation is given by God’s grace, we only need to have the faith to believe in this grace. All the works of God are contained in evangelism. God said that if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then everything will be added on to us, as well (Matthew 6:33).
- Meditate on how we can only be happy by enjoying the Gospel and how we can enjoy the blessing of evangelism of relaying the Gospel in our life.
