What is the filling of the Holy Spirit?
Acts 16:16~18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her. (18)

People diligently study and try valiantly to live a good life. But when faced with problems, they struggle in vain to overcome it. However, when we do not have the basics, foundations and fundamentals of life, things will continue to be difficult. To solve these three issues, we need to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. And to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, we must be guided by the Holy Spirit. What, then, is the filling of the Holy Spirit?
1. My enjoyment and method of prayer
The filling of the Holy Spirit is God’s promise. As children of God who have received salvation, we will receive the filling of the Holy Spirit when we simply pray holding on to the covenant. The filling of the Holy Spirit is the individual enjoying the mystery of prayer and receiving strength. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the Devil’s work, eliminate curses, and open the way for us to meet with God. When we pray holding on to this covenant, God promised to give to us the filling of the Holy Spirit. Joseph possessed the power to pray, even as a slave. He possessed the mystery of being with the Lord, even in prison. If we simply have our own mystery of prayer, all things will be solved.
2. Enjoying the answers God gives in the church
There are answers in the field. In each worship, the Holy Spirit works. When works like fire and wind arise, all doors will be opened and the Word will be fulfilled. When this happens, disciples will be attached to us even if we do not struggle for it. When we go to the field armed with the Word, the field will change. Furthermore, answers that are great enough in scope to do missions in the entire world will arrive. The filling of the Holy Spirit is realistically enjoying the answers God gives to the church.
3. Enjoying the answers in the field
While it may seem as if people are living trouble-free lives, they are actually suffering from spiritual problems (Acts 13:1~12). They feel insecure without superstition and sorcery (Acts 16:16~18). While it may seem that people are earning a lot of money and achieving great success, they are actually being destroyed after falling into an abyss of idolatry (Acts 19:8~20). If we know this and relay the accurate Gospel to these people, the work of God will begin and answers will begin to arrive. We refer to this as the filling of the Holy Spirit.
- The filling of the Holy Spirit is a promise; this means that we are bound to receive it. Find your own method of prayer to enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit and enjoy the mystery of prayer.
