The foundation of the life of the evangelist
2 Timothy 3:14~17 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. (14~15)

Evangelists must always pray so that they can preach the Gospel to all people around them. If they pray in such a way, they can discover many answers in their lives. If they are just living the life of the evangelist because they couldn’t avoid it, then they cannot receive the answers that God gives. Those who have the power that God gives can easily overcome the world. And it begins with none other than the life of the evangelist.
1. The time when the foundation of life is made
For all people there are meetings with other people as they live. Also, everyone is in special surroundings. The foundation of life is determined depending on such meetings and surroundings. In order to restore today’s evangelism, we must find God’s plan in the midst of our meetings with others and our surroundings. It is at this time that we discover the prayer topics that we need to pray for. And when we hold on to the Word, we will discover important doors of evangelism.
2. Blessing of meeting
Timothy received faith from his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice (2 Timothy 1:1~5). In addition, he received important instruction from a church leader named Paul (2 Timothy 2:1~7). And he fulfilled all the duties of his ministry as an evangelist in his field (2 Timothy 4:1~5). People live as they meet with others. However, it is important whom you meet with and what you do with them. We must restore the meeting of sharing the true Gospel among today’s meetings.
3. Habit
In our lives, many of the things are mostly determined by habits and people’s lives will change through small habits. That is why the younger you are, the more important it is for you to equip yourselves with good habits. Especially, it is important to develop the habit of studying through reading books and to make leisure and the reasonable attitudes of life through physical exercise. The most important of all the habits that determine the course of your life is the life of the evangelist becoming the foundation of your life. The reason why we must live is evangelism. God will take responsibility from the beginning to the end of those who live for evangelism.
- Meditate on the reason why you must relay the life of the evangelist to the future generations and disciples and try one small application for evangelism.
