The fundamentals of life
1 Samuel 3:1~3 The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was.

There is a reason for those who fail, and a reason that people who succeed have no recourse but to succeed. While we must succeed in the world, success in the Gospel is far more important. To succeed in the Gospel, we must have a picture of our meetings, the people, the region, and the field. It is important that such a life of the evangelist is formed from an early age. Then, how can I live the life of the evangelist today?
1. It is a period in which the fundamentals are formed.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of all knowledge (Proverbs 1:7). In particular, it is important that the fundamentals are properly formed at an early age. What is rooted in our thoughts may determine life in its entirety. Thoughts that are formed at an early age do not change easily. We must instill in our thoughts and hearts the message God gives to us today. That is why the Remnant movement that saves our next generation is imperative.
2. We must have the covenant of God in our hearts.
From an early age, Samuel held on to his mother’s desire of producing a Nazarite as his very own covenant. Even inadvertently, he was already within the covenant. Moreover, he spent his formative years in the temple. While what we do in our formative years can be important, where we are is even more paramount. Samuel always lay before the Ark of the Covenant. Eli had grown old, and it was an age where the fear of the Lord had ceased. At this time, Samuel listened to the Word of God next to the Ark of the Covenant.
3. Works are revealed as rightful answers.
Whatever is instilled in us at an early age manifests itself as a result. Samuel received the answer of not having a single word he spoke fall to the ground. He also raised the Mizpah movement, which could not happen by the power of a single person alone. In this midst arose posterity like David. To properly see the work of God in this age, we must receive the filling of the Holy Spirit every day, and taste the power of the filling of the Holy Spirit. Start composing a journal of evangelism with the true heart of an evangelist. When you do, you will discover the blessings you have previously lost.
