A single person who receives true answers while possessing the Gospel can save the entire world. The world was revived time and again through single leaders like Moses, David, and Martin Luther. We have heard the Gospel through His grace, and have received many blessings in the Gospel, but what must we do from now on? What can we do to save the entire world? First, we must save ourselves.
1. The beginning of saving ourselves
Many people are beginning incorrectly. We are children of God with salvation. The Bible tells us that without the Holy Spirit, not a single person can confess that Christ is Lord (1 Corinthians 12:3), and that the Holy Spirit indwells in people with salvation (1 Corinthians 3:16), and promises to guide us perfectly while filling us with the Spirit. We must pray even for 5 minutes a day for the Holy Spirit to govern our soul, thoughts and heart, and for His work to be manifested in our life and body in the name of Jesus Christ. When we do so, the forces of darkness surrounding us will be bound. It is at this point that we can let go of all the excuses that please none but Satan, and abandon the unbelief making my soul ill. Changing everything into a blessing of God is the correct step to saving ourselves.
2. The faith that saves ourselves
The early church ha the correct faith with which they were able to save themselves. This is the faith of believing that Jesus is indeed the Christ. When we pray holding onto the covenant of Christ, all curses will flee, and the forces of darkness will crumble. When we pray holding onto the name of Jesus, the Kingdom of God will come. It is at this point we can save ourselves, and have the power to save the world. This is the faith we must hold to eternally.
3. The eyes to save ourselves
The Early Church members who gathered in Mark’s upper room had the eyes to see three things. First, they were able to see today’s answers within the Gospel. Within the daily time schedule lay the answers to save their field and the doors to answers and disciples. God has given to us a similar answer in our daily lives. It is when we open our eyes to see this that the true blessing of saving ourselves can begin.
- If we are revived, we can save our families, the fields, the church, the nation and the entire age. Hold on to today’s Word as you meditate deeply on the covenant you must hold on to, and what you must put into action.
