Sense of specialty of an evangelist
Acts 1:1~2 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. (1~2)

The letters sent to Theophilus by Luke, a specialist who understood the Gospel, are the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. When we evangelize, we must help those in need. If we read the Bible, however, the field where the works of evangelism greatly took place is when specialists understood the Gospel. As we live our lives, we will find that world evangelization is not difficult if we meet specialists just like the workers recorded in Romans 16 who understood the Gospel correctly.
1. We must know the Gospel correctly
Because each and every specialist is very precious, we must let him know that all things originate from within the Gospel. This is not something difficult. The Bible tells us that God chose us by His grace before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:4, Romans 16:25, John 15:16, Ephesians 2:8). All our past is God’s grace. We try to break free from our past, but immense grace is in our past. And today’s answer is in God’s Word, prayer and evangelism. Our future is about having all our hope in the Gospel. To discover this is to correctly know the Gospel and let others enjoy it. Specialists will be revived only when we discover our past, present and future inside the Gospel.
2. Specialists have the sense of specialty
One of the strengths of specialists is that they are good at viewing the facts correctly with their sense of specialty. However, they have the paradigm that becomes the stumbling block to receiving the Gospel. Without being noticed, we must help them so that they can overcome it before the Gospel. ‘Oh, I need to break the paradigm before the Gospel!’ When specialists themselves realize this, they will receive great blessings of the Gospel. From then on, they will devote their entire lives to the evangelism movement just like Gaius and stake their lives on missions just like Priscilla and Aquila.
3. What comes after receiving the answers is more important
Many people saw for themselves the miracle of the Exodus and the power of God displayed in the wilderness, but they could not see past them. That is why we need to have the faith of God’s works. It is not a matter of whether it will or will not work, but we must realize that God is with us. We must go beyond the level, ‘I was suffering from this problem, but it is resolved after I believed Jesus,’ and help people realize, ‘God allowed me this problem in order to give me salvation. From now on I will become an evangelist who holds the sense of specialty.’ Abounding grace and thanksgiving will pour out from this.
- The way to save people is through the uniqueness of Christ. What must evangelists who will save specialists prepare?
