Change three things!
Philippians 4:6~7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (6~7).
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #380 Savior, More than Life to Me (#424 in previous version)
God is working in our lives even today through the Word. However, we are not able to correctly enjoy God who is with us. Not only that, we think that the fulfillment of the Word and prayer answers are not working out for us. In addition, when problems and conflicts find us, we easily shake. How can children of God who are saved receive factual answers?
1. Our paradigm must change
Our paradigm must change. All people have set boundaries when it comes to their thoughts and actions. These boundaries are formed from a young age, grounded in the environments and backgrounds people grew up in. The thoughts and judgments we have are determined by our paradigm; for this reason, the paradigm that we possess is extremely important. No matter how much the frog inside the well puts forth his effort and wanders about, if he does not change his paradigm as one who is not inside the well, he cannot see the important answers. We can discover answers when we change our paradigm.
2. We must change our lives to the life of the evangelist
We must change our lives to the life of the evangelist. The life of the evangelist is not tremendous or something special. It is about a child of God who has been saved always seeking the Word of God. All we have to do is grab hold of that Word, think about it, and go out to the field. If we grab hold of that Word and enjoy the mystery of prayer of looking to God moment by moment, we will be witnesses when the evidence comes. If we are inside our fixed thinking, we cannot live the life of the evangelist. If we start the life of the evangelist from the small aspects of our lives, great answers will begin.
3. We must change our personal time.
We must change the time that we are alone. During the time we are alone, we must absolutely do scheduled worship and scheduled prayer. If we are able to give worship and pray alone, we can triumph through our spiritual strength. When a person who triumphs in personal worship gives Sunday worship together with others, he will obtain great answers. If we possess spiritual strength, we will not be deceived in the field, see the plan of God and be able to challenge. God gives us the evidence of blessings to the extent that we are able to evangelize. That is why it is important to restore spiritual strength during the time that we are alone.
- What answers am I inside of today? For the sake of receiving the answers that God is with you, make specific challenges in changing your boundaries of today’s Word, prayer and evangelism, and receive your answers.
