The life of worship and the sin offering
Leviticus 4:1~12 Say to the Israelites: “When anyone sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands— If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed. If the anointed priest sins, bringing guilt on the people, he must bring to the Lord a young bull without defect as a sin offering for the sin he has committed.” (2~3)
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #28 Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing
One of the most important and beautiful acts man is capable of doing is worship. No matter the situation, we cannot neglect our children to become exposed and eventually ceded to spiritual problems. That is why it is of the utmost importance to restore the blessing of worship in our lives today. The more we try to repress and hold back, the more conflicts will arise, and the more we attempt on our own, the more problems will reveal themselves in other facets. We have no choice but to fail unless it is with the true strength given by God.
1. The answer God gives during worship
When worship is difficult and does not take place easily, it means that we are missing something important. The people who met and enjoyed answers- including the blind Bartimaeus, the woman suffering from a bleeding disorder, Zacchaeus, and the centurion, among others- did not merely pray for the sake of praying; rather, they possessed answers already. People who come to worship already armed with an answer are bound to receive answers. To people of God, all problems will in turn become answers When we are ill, it is an opportunity to further experience the power of God. When we are alone, it is an opportunity to enjoy Immanuel, and if we are lacking strength, it becomes instead an opportunity to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. Whether we are alone or are a part of a larger unity, those who give worship in their own fields will always receive answers.
2. Answers that come quickly
There is a way to expedite answers to the greatest degree. When we realize our own faults and not the fault of others before God, God will change His will toward us and answer us in the quickest way possible. There is no other way to receive the solution to sin, curses, and disasters. That’s why God promised to rid everything through the blood of Christ. Priests, chiefs and congregations were without exception; if they realized their own faults within the blood covenant and aimed to correct them, this in turn became a platform for blessings and they enjoyed the greatest answers.
3. The answers in the field
When the individual life and the blessing of the tabernacle are connected, we will see our past, present and future, and enjoy the life of the evangelist and see the answer of Christ being the Christ even in the midst of our strictly personal lives. God fulfills His plans through worship. When we believe firmly in the blood of Christ and give worship, all curses will end, and we will have victory even without going to battle. We will see reality properly, and instead of being arrogant when answers arrive, we will enjoy the blessings of disciples who are able to look forward to a greater tomorrow.
- Examine your life of worship. Look closely to see if you are enjoying the mystery of the blood covenant of Christ in your businesses and within your studies and resolve to be a person of true worship.
