Grieving the Holy Spirit and putting out the Spirit’s fire
Ephesians 4:25~32 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption

Many people cry out, “I’m so powerless. I have no money. Everything is so difficult. Studies are not taking place for me because I’m not smart enough.” We do not realize that God has promised to give us His strength and this blessing is already here with us. This is what it means to put out the Spirit’s fire. The Holy Spirit is undoubtedly leading us; however, we never follow His guidance and resort to foolish actions. This is what it means to grieve the Holy Spirit. In order to stop putting out the Spirit’s fire and grieving the Holy Spirit, we must be filled by the Holy Spirit. We must absolutely remember three things.
1. Indwelling of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:16)
It is okay even if we are in the position of failure. The spirit of God has promised to be inside the children of God who has been saved. When we believe in this truth, fear and anxiety are diminished as unbelief and the forces of darkness crumble. The moment we believe that the Holy Spirit is with us, one day our field will change. Joseph gained complete victory as a slave and in prison with the faith that God was always with him.
2. Guidance of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16~17)
If a child of God does everything to receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every work, then he or she can enjoy the greatest walk of faith. Because the Holy Spirit promises to guide us when He is with us, receiving the guidance of the Holy Spirit is not difficult at all. When the door closes, do not be discouraged but rather seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and great answers will come. Conversely, when the answers come, if you can continuously seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and not become excited or arrogant, then answers to save the age will arise. Like this, receiving the guidance of the Holy Spirit means to receive eternal answers, and it is to possess the unique answers unknown to everyone else.
3. Filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8)
Jesus directly promised the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). The filling of the Holy Spirit is an enjoyment. If you have a severe spiritual or personal problem, pray to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. When you have a problem that you can’t share with anyone else, or a disease, it is an opportunity to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit. With the filling of the Holy Spirit, everything is possible and the world can be changed. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit the answers of uniqueness arise and through the filling of the Holy Spirit, you can become a unique individual.
- The greatest promise God has given to His children is the filling, indwelling, and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Right now, begin enjoying this promise through prayer.
