The very first strategy to overcome the forces of darkness
Philippians 3:3~11 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. (10~11)

The darkness that deceived Adam and Eve still exists to this day. The forces of darkness are even now attempting to deceive and attack the lay people and church with the Gospel to prevent the rise of the evangelism movement. Many lay people and congregation members in the church are losing hold of this truth and falling prey to conflicts and trials over trivial matters, often resorting to fighting. What is the first thing that we, as people with the Gospel, must do to overcome these force of darkness?
1. The 1st strategy to overcome darkness
First, verse 6 of the Scripture for today tells us that God has a plan for all His believers. If we truly realize this, we have no need to fall into trials or conflicts, and we will be able to overcome fights and not be deceived by darkness. Second, we must realize that God’s greater plans are hidden within the opinions and will of both ourselves and others. It becomes easier to understand when we try to look at a situation from the other person’s perspective. Third, we mustn’t look at problems as problems but rather as answers. The 7 Remnants in the Bible and Paul, along with the Early Church epitomize this. Finally, waiting until all believers within the church can understand each other and be one, and until all the lay leaders receive strength is the very first strategy to defeat the darkness.
2. True answers that arise after defeating darkness
Once we truly understand that God has a plan for everyone, true answers from God will begin. Sincere prayer topics for all people will arise. Paul saw God’s plan for all believers, discovered prayer topics regarding each and every individual and gave thanks. When we discover God’s plan regarding other people, amazing works will arise. It is at this point that the church will gain strength and live. It is at this point that the church will receive strength and see the great works of God that the Early Church experienced. It is at this point that disciples like Timothy, who will properly do the evangelism movement, will arise from within the church, and the workers in the mold of Romans 16 who will shoulder the burden for the finances supporting world evangelization will arise as well. If we truly do the evangelism movement after having realized the Gospel and true blessings, God will take care of our finances.
° Forum Topic - Think about the people around you, all the believers within the church, and in particular, pastors and lay leaders in the church and God’s plan towards them. Then, meditate upon the plan of God regarding your work and your interpersonal relationships.
