How can I enjoy the Word?

The Word of God is being fulfilled even now, but many people have lost hold of this truth and do not really believe. In particular, pastors and lay leaders have been entrusted with many things, yet they are unable to truly place God’s Word in their hearts. Let’s think about how we’d feel if the Word we heard today was fulfilled.
1. We must discover the Word through meetings and incidents
When we meet new people we must think, “What is the message God wants to give to this person?” On their way to pray, Peter and John met a crippled man. “In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, walk.” At this, the crippled man stood up. Philip relayed the Gospel to the Ethiopian eunuch whom he met in the desert. What would have happened if, at this time, he had said something else? When something happens in our lives, we should try to find a message through it instead of scurrying to resolve it. God’s plan is undoubtedly hidden within everything that happens in our lives.
2. We must discover the Word in all the work we do
David was a shepherd. How, then, did he discover the Word? Although he was a shepherd who tended sheep, he realized that the Lord was his shepherd. He also realized that his place as a shepherd was the greatest seat of blessings. This was how he even became king. However, even as a king, he sought out God’s Word, which led him to prepare for the construction of the temple. What is the Word we must hold onto in our fields? We must meditate deeply as we pray about this.
3. We must discover today’s Word
Thinking about today’s Word on a daily basis, we must discover the covenant while meditating upon the pulpit message. We will fail if we have grudges, worries and unbelief in our hearts instead of the Word. On the other hand, if we hold onto God’s Word within us and meditate upon it, we have already succeeded. God has already prepared new grace and new answers in today’s Word.
