Must I study abroad?

Many people think going overseas is the best option, but that is not always the case. Studying abroad to have diverse experiences in the broader world can become a valuable experience. However, there is something we must do wherever we may be, and that is enjoying happiness, answers and blessings within our lives. It is not enduring through pain, but enjoying those sufferings as blessings. Last, we must attain the lifestyles of the elite. We will crumble if we enter into the world without any reasonable attitudes. In order to see the world at large and stand as the main figures for world evangelization, what should we prepare?
1. Talent
Regarding talent, there are talents that must be cultivated within your own nation and talent in a specific area of science that you must cultivate elsewhere. The areas in which you need a solid foundation in your nation include any position in the judiciary or political field such as judges, prosecutors and lawyers, and occupations like doctors or professors. In these areas, it is better to study at home rather than going overseas. Conversely, if a particular area of science within your nation is behind or it is more advanced in another nation, it is better to go overseas ahead of time. We must be able to consider all sides of the matter and then make our decisions.
2. Preparation for globalization
Wherever we might be, we must prepare for globalization. One of the most important ways to prepare for globalization is the way we think. Speaking many different languages fluently is also important, but a person with globalized thoughts can change the world. The most detailed form of preparation for globalization is language. We must continually study language every chance we get. It is crucial to see and understand the culture in the context of globalization.
3. When should I prepare for globalization?
The reason God sent Joseph to Egypt at an early age is because he had to know Egypt. God sent Moses to Egypt even earlier to know Egypt even better and because He planned to use him for important works. Also, Paul had Roman citizenship and was used specially by God because he knew the culture very well. We must start preparing for globalization now. Embrace the entire world in your heart and start praying now.
