That one thing

Anyone can suddenly face a spiritual problem that they cannot talk about with anyone else, or he or she may already have such problems. What we must remember at that time is that nobody can solve our spiritual problems for us. People try moving to another church or listening to what others say, but those things only give temporary relief. Their spiritual problems are not solved, and only get worse with time. Then, what must we do?

1. We must hold onto one thing

In the Scripture, it says, “My son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” This is the only way to solve spiritual problems. Spiritual problems can be solved only by the Gospel. We should be able to thank God for allowing us to know and realize this Gospel. This is the only way we can be healed in Christ. Paul was not in good health, and he even had hard times due to his spiritual problems. However, he received salvation by the grace of God and gave a confession of thanksgiving. If we go deep into Christ and feel thanksgiving, we will receive healing at that time and works will arise. To enjoy this answer, we must have the attitude of the spiritual soldier, athlete, and the diligent farmer. That is when God promises to give us wisdom in all that we do.

2. All must be connected as one

Gospel (Christ), evangelism (evidence), and work (wisdom in all matters) must be connected as one. If these three things are connected, then amazing works will happen. Because everything is in the one thing called the Gospel, we must go about doing these three things with prayer.

3. Into prayer

If these three things connect and prayer starts to take place, then works will start to happen. If we continue to do scheduled prayer, our nature will be healed. Also, if we do continuous prayer, then our environment will be healed. If we hold onto the Word through worship, that Word will be fulfilled in our lives. If we do special prayer, we will start to see God’s plan, and if we pray in the midst of conflict and problems, then God will give us an important time schedule.
