On Mount Sinai for forty days and forty nights
Exodus 24:12~18 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain. Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. And he stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights (17~18)

We can only experience the works of God if we correctly realize why we are in this place. There are a few things we must know with respect to the problems that we have and the time schedule for the future that we must overcome. Disasters come to everyone at some point. There are no exceptions to this rule, not even one. That is why the Bible promised us from long ago that God would give us the Gospel. The Bible tells us that the moment believers, who have become children of God, lose hold of the Gospel, Satan will attack them as if he had been waiting for that very moment (1 Peter 5:8). As a result of disasters, idolatry and religions are on the rise. Those who seek after grace, like Moses, who experienced God after staying on Mount Sinai forty days and forty nights, will have the future of world evangelization wide open before them.
1. Forty days and forty nights
The fact that God is with us with His power is a blessing that is second only to our blessing of salvation. God wants us to confirm the power that He gives to us and move forward. As the Israelites moved through the wilderness to the land of Canaan, there was something that Moses had to do before he did anything else. He went up to Mount Sinai forty days and forty nights and experienced God. Confirming God’s power starts from the resolutions that we make. The day that we are determined and resolved to experience God and receive His power is the day when works begin (Daniel 10:10~20). The resolution made today to focus on God becomes the greatest prayer.
2. An even more definite answer
Israel didn’t belong in slavery to Egypt. But when they came out, they were confused and conflicted even though they saw the miracles of the Exodus and the Red Sea. It was at this time that God inscribed His Word on the stone tablets through Moses. God made His inscriptions on stone tablets because He wanted the Israelites to know that His promise would never perish. The first through fourth commandments record God’s love, and the fifth through tenth record love towards others. If you look closely, it was the complete Gospel. If we hold to the complete Gospel and pray, answers will surely come one day at the most precise moment in God’s time schedule. Experiencing God is experiencing His Word. We can come to understand the Word of God through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. The Word is the most accurate answer.
