What was restored on Mount Sinai
Exodus 24:1~8 Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he sprinkled on the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, "We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey." Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, "This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words." (6~8)

It should have only taken the Israelites a week to get from the Red Sea to the land of Canaan after the Exodus. However, God kept the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years. Why? He allowed them to cross the Red Sea, but then had them go to Mount Sinai and build an altar there. What did God want Israel to realize?
1. Prepare complete answers
Our forefathers of faith who succeeded in their Christian lives all went through long periods of waiting. For Abraham it was 25 years, for Isaac, 20 years, for Jacob, 21 years, for Joseph, 13 years, and for Moses, 80 years. The 7 Remnants were able to wait for the time schedule of promises because they believed in God’s covenant. There are times when God answers us after some time passes in order to give us complete answers. The desire of God, who allows problems in our lives and gives us prayer topics, is not for us to be conflicted and worry and fall into despair. It is for us to receive true answers from Him. If God’s children hold to His Word, pray and wait, they are preparing in the best way to receive complete answers.
2. Restore the complete Gospel
As someone who accurately understood the Gospel God had given to him, Moses understood Genesis 3 well. He was a leader who held onto the covenant of the blood and God’s Word, as well as the power and dangers associated with them. The Bible passage talks about how Moses and the Israelites restored the covenant through the Gospel. The 80 years that Moses waited, as well as the 40 years of the rest of his life, were connected with enjoying and restoring the Gospel. God wants everyone to restore the Gospel in their lives. We can enjoy this type of grace through a church that has the Gospel. The most valuable thing we can do today is to go into the complete Gospel.
3. Finally, enjoy the grace of God, who gives us the blessing of blessings
Say you lost a thousand dollars today but found a billion dollars a couple of days later. God’s blessings are like this example. Although the forces of darkness throw people into destruction, God wants to give us good things in our lives. He wants to give us the best things through everything that happens in our lives, even the hardships. This grace is accurate and complete; it’s the blessing of God who fills us with the best things.
