The fulfillment of the Word

We must hold onto how God is fulfilling His Word in our lives before we go out into the evangelism field. Herein lies the reason why God used Paul and the disciples of the Early Church in a great way. They held onto the fact that God was going to fulfill the Word that He had given to them. Paul saw and followed the fulfillment of God’s Word when he met Lydia, when he healed the demon-possessed girl, when he was imprisoned, and when great miracles arose in prison. This is very important.
1. We must find prayer topics within the Word
We must find prayer topics in the Word on our own. The Jewish people learned at an early age how to find what was important through the books that they read. We can’t think on our own if all we do is memorize. Great works will take place if we can find God’s work on our own. God will view the leaders who can help others in this area with great importance.
2. We must absolutely experience the fulfillment of the Word
We must know how the Word of God is being fulfilled in our lives right now. Helping the people we meet or our children know this as well is the greatest of ministries. We must help them find these things on their own through forum. This is the greatest of training.
3. We must see the fulfillment of the Word and follow after it
The disciples of the Early Church viewed the fulfillment of the Word as a rightful answer and followed after it. They had the eyes to see the work of the Holy Spirit on their own. That is how they were able to see true evangelism fields. Paul didn’t lose hold of God’s great work when the doors of evangelism to Asia were closed, but went to Macedonia and met Lydia instead. Paul and Silas could’ve been angered by their unjust beating and imprisonment, but they didn’t lose hold of God’s great work and met the jailer, who had been prepared by God. If we continue to see the fulfillment of God’s Word and see the evangelism field properly, we will see answers as well as the work of God.
