The baptism of the Holy Spirit
Acts 8:14~25 When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. (15~17)

God is absolutely sovereign and is working even at this time. God sent Christ, opened up the way of salvation to meet God, and solved all problems. In addition, the Holy Spirit promised that He would give us the power to win over the world. Even now, quarrels about pneumatology have continued without ceasing. If this is the case, how must we understand the work of the Holy Spirit and correctly experience it?
1. We must receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit that came upon Mark’s upper room
Jesus spoke about the work of the kingdom of heaven for 40 days after resurrecting. In addition, He promised to send the Holy Spirit. He said, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth.” The 120 people who gathered together at Mark’s upper room grabbed hold of the promise of the Lord and constantly prayed. On the day of the Pentecost, the Holy Spirit worked in accordance with the promise. In addition, all doors began to open together along with the doors of evangelism, and the Word proclaimed from the pulpit began to be fulfilled. Finally, this blessing was relayed to the field, fruits of evangelism arose, disciples were established, financial problems were solved, and change began to continually arise in the field. This is the model of the baptism of the Holy Spirit that we must experience today.
2. The door of evangelism will continue to open if we continue to experience the Holy Spirit
If the filling of the Holy Spirit continues, we become filled with the Word of God in the field. If we come to enjoy the filling of the Holy Spirit, we will not fear death, despite persecution. In addition, the works of God will arise in disaster zones, like Samaria, and God’s absolute sovereignty will come upon us, like the meeting between Phillip and the Ethiopian eunuch through the work of the Holy Spirit. Like the Scripture reading, great spiritual works will start to arise in the field. We must factually experience these kinds of works.
3. We can change the world if we experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit through scheduled prayer
If we ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit, the Word proclaimed from the pulpit will start to be fulfilled in the field and we will begin to see the future. Every time Paul did scheduled prayer, he saw the future of Rome evangelization. It is this simple, but people do not pray. Starting from this moment, start praying three kinds of prayers. Even if it is once or twice a day, grab hold of the Word at important times in the day and do scheduled prayer. Amazing works will arise. In addition, do continuous prayer where you enjoy the work of the Holy Spirit whenever you work and in your interpersonal relationships. Also, have a time of deep prayer. Paul entered into deep prayer with his personal problems, and he came to realize that problems were channels of grace.
