Vision Prayer

 Joseph possessed a sure vision. The majority of people suffer a loss while doing things that are uncertain, or fall down easily when they are met with problems. In the face of problems, those who have the Gospel come to see the truth that those problems had no choice but to befall them, search for what they must do that is absolutely necessary, and find God’s absolute plan that lies hidden behind the problems. If it is certain than our vision is a true vision, we will neither falter nor lose hold of this blessing. If so, then how must we begin prayer in order to discover a sure vision?





1. Prior to vision prayer
 Prior to vision prayer, we must challenge ourselves regarding problems. In other words, this means that we must gain the answer to our problems. Once we find the answer to our problems, we will discover the reason and time schedule. What would have happened if Joseph gave up midway? Why did God let Joseph remain in the place of hardships for such a long time? God was waiting for the right time. In this way, God perfectly guides us. Above all we must pray to be in the Gospel. Simply put, we must reapply and reinterpret everything with the Gospel. God did not let Joseph go through tribulation just to make him governor. God led Joseph in that way to use him for the sake of the Gospel.




2. Beginning of vision prayer
 First, we must correctly receive God’s Word because vision is something that God provides. We can be convinced that the vision we have is the one that God gave us only when we confirm our vision through God’s Word. Second, we must live a life of enjoying this vision in every aspect of our life. David’s sheep-tending was a means to enjoying his vision and his hardships were a means to bring his vision to fulfillment. It is at this time that the realization of the vision takes place. For instance, God''s hand was in everything that happened to David, and these things brought his vision to fulfillment. What is more important is what comes after the vision. Our purpose is not to realize our vision but to grab hold of God’s covenant that lies behind our vision. That is why the start of those who have a vision is different.





3. For the sake of realizing of our vision
 For the sake of realizing of our vision, the most important thing we must do is to actualize our vision and connect it to reality and the future. Our vision must be realistic. We may have a vision, but if it does not match with our present reality, it means that we lack a strong conviction regarding our vision. And when we make our vision into reality, it will be fulfilled in our lives. We must also continue to draw pictures for the future.
