Even though our present reality can be difficult, we, who possess the Gospel, must not be deceived by it. Many people lose hold of the Word or receive it incorrectly because their present reality is so difficult. On the other hand, if we open our spiritual eyes and see the true reality of things, we will be able to see something new. We can only receive the Word correctly when we are not deceived by our present reality. That is why we have no choice but to be successful once we apply the Word. How can we receive the Word correctly?
1. By grace, through faith
God called us before creation and eternity and gave us salvation. The Bible tells us that we have been saved by God’s grace, through faith (Ephesians 2:8~10). God looks upon the entirety of the past, present, future, and eternity, and has called us within His absolute sovereignty. That is the reason why John Calvin, when summarizing the Bible, said, ‘Man has been completely corrupted and has no way to live. We cannot receive salvation through any other means. That is why those who believe in Christ receive salvation. God gave us that faith by grace.’ He also said that children of God cannot fail because they are in the almighty hands of God.
2. The resolution of faith
God wants faith and resolutions from us, not methods. That is why we will receive answers when we resolve to uproot our disbelief. However, problems will continue to come if we continue to remain within disbelief. If we pray with the correct heart with a resolution of faith, God will most assuredly give us His Word regarding the future. When this happens, we can experience the fulfillment of the Word daily. When we come to the resolution of prayer, God’s answers will start to come.
3. Prayer of waiting
If we hold onto the Word and stay within prayer then important events will happen. We must not be taken aback, but wait instead. Don’t simply wait, but wait while confirming God’s answers daily. All we have to do is not be taken aback but just wait. We don’t simply wait, but we wait confirming the answers every day. When big events took place in the lives of the 7 Remnants¶S, they held onto the covenant and waited until the fulfillment of the Word came to them at the perfect moment. What we see and what we possess is more important than what we are actually doing. All we have to do is hold onto this secret and not be deceived by our problems, our present reality, and our habits. The reason is because the Word will be fulfilled no matter what.
